A. Fuchsia

Published by plantwriter at 12:17 pm under Plants Beginning With A Edit This

The A. Fuchsia is a shrub that can be planted as an annual or biennials. It is also edible. The cultivar is A1 and the plant family is Onagraceae. It thrives in zones 9 to 11 and though the AHS Heat Zone is undefined for this plant, it prefers cooler summer temperatures. If the summers are shorter and cooler, it can be planted in full sun, else it should be planted in part shade. The A. Fuchsia has multi-colored flowers. The corolla is light blue with blue and pink petaloids. Once the petaloids age, they turn to lavender. The sepals tend to be a light pinkish color. The foliage is deciduous and the leaves are small and oval. It produces fruit that is edible, but not very appetizing. This plant can grow up to 6 feet in height and up to 3 feet wide.
